Panhandle Prairie Sharks
“Escape your world, relax in ours”
We call ourselves the Panhandle Prairie Sharks and we are Amarillo’s official chapter of the Parrot
Heads in Paradise (PHiP). Our purpose is to serve our community by supporting local charities while having as much phun as possible. We.bring together like-minded individuals who 
embrace the Party with a Purpose belief and who are committed to making a real difference in our community. We may be located in the phlat and dusty Panhandle of Texas, but our souls are in paradise where living is easy, phun is mandatory, and you can always find a phriend and a place in the shade.
The purpose of PPS is to provide charitable and educational activities promoting the general welfare of Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle In fact, since you’re still reading, we bet we’re a “PHlock” like you! If this sounds like something you would like to be a part of, join us at our next club function, or just sign up to be a member! We’d be happy to have you aboard!

Happy Hour this Friday! October 22 Cada Vez Cocina Mexicana 6 PM – 10 PM
October is Socktober! Socks are the least donated item, and winter is coming. Please buy new socks (men’s, women’s, or children’s) to be donated to Faith City Mission & Colorful Closet.
Convenient ways to participate if you cannot make happy hour:
- You can deliver it to me. Message me for my address.
- You can Venmo me, I will purchase and deliver socks for you. My Venmo is @Tracey-Kilburn.
- You can order socks and deliver them directly to Faith City Mission in Amarillo or your local homeless shelter.
- Please post or message me with the number of socks delivered.

Saturday, October 16th. This is the info we have thus far. More to follow soon.
PPS will be having their 2nd Annual Cornhole Tournament. Benefiting the Texas Panhandle Builders Association Scholarship Fund in memory of an amazing man and dear friend Ron Connally. This year we will have both singles and doubles tournaments. Singles will be played first and doubles afterward. Sign up at 9:00 am. bags will fly at 10:00 am. We encourage everyone to sign up for both to enjoy all the Phun! Entry will be $25.00 for single and $50.00 for doubles. As soon as we have all the information needed we will post where you can go to sign up. So please put it on your calendar now to join in on this event.
If interested in being a sponsor please let us know. Sponsorship will be $200.00.
